Here i am. Lazyin around on a monday afternoon. Timecheck - 5.40pm...status - still sleepy ever though had 4hrs of nap. Raining damn heavily outside, and with 25 mins to go b4 my youngest sis get back, i'd better make full use of this time b4 she invades the computer. Kids nowadays...8 yrs old can noe how to use the internet... When i was her age, maybe i was still playin masak-masak and "police n thief"...

Niwaez...i still hold strongly by what i said yesterday...in Singapore's media industry, if u win some talent quest, especially non-Chinese ones, ppl dun tend to get very far. Even if they do, they take ages to be successful. No offence to any aspiring talent hunt future winners out there, but i'm juz startin the fact. My piece of advice to you... leave s'pore and head for the bright lights of our beloved neighbour...MALAYSIA!!!... But bewarned though, this advice only applies to the minority race of us malays...u 'majorities' better juz stay put or if not, go to Hong Kong or something...better future la deh...hehehe

As much as i dun want to sound nasty, singapore's malay artistes realli dun get very far... They're juz, STUCK there for the rest of their lives, nver movin on. True that some of them get to a certain degree of popularity... Ppl like Suhaimi Yusof and Sujimy Mohd are juz a few that has made it thru...but there are many others who fall, fall so low they can never get back up... Winners of past talent hunts onli tend to be popular for a short period of time...take hazrul, eka, rudy for example...u onli see them once a year...at HARI RAYA!!!... Ok, maybe i'm forced to eat my words when someone shouts back the names of last yr's Anugerah winners. Ok maybe there's still a little wee bit of hope for malay talent winners...but i forsee them not stayin too long in s'pore either... Even one of the fellows, syed azmir is migrating for KL. Why?...cz he thinks long term...

Here's the undeniable fact...Singapore's market is juz too damn small for the malay entertainment industry... If one wants to think big and succeed tremendously, M'sia and Indon hav better prospects... Not meaning to sound racist...but s'pore is juz too Chinese oriented... So if u wish to be big, juz head across the heavily traffic jamd Causeway into the motherland. I'm sure u've heard of M.nasir...Loloq...Ramli Sarip...they were once Singaporeans...raised and educated here. But in terms of their careers, they choose to sell their talents abroad. And look how bloody successful they are... So unless u can speak the language of harry LKY, have the looks of Fann Wong and the talents of Zoe Tay...i'd say u better head m'sia for success...

But who noes, upcoming winners of Suria's recent talent hunts can make it big...u'll never noe... I'm not trying to say that they fail outright...all i'm tryin to say is that s'pore's market is too small... All i can say is that, if u win, all u can do is earn a decent halal living...and that's it. Be popular for one two years, and then go on wif some other career path. But if u dream big and think that the malay entertainment business is where u belong, take my advice and migrate to the motherland...

No offence to evrybody readin these... It's hard for me to swallow as well, but unless u can speak the language (aka Cina)... all u can be here are Suria employees or cameramen for Channel 5... Thats why in some time of my life, i forsee myself in M'sia...producer/director or something... Niwaez,i'll gladly accept comments and heated debates on this issues...i always welcome healthy competition ...hehehe... Place ur comments for all to see, and likewise, if u think wad i say make sense, place ur comments as well...

There's still hope though...but sadly, that hope isnt goin to last very long...M'sia here i come...

Watch Anugerah Skrin tonite ppl...i noe i will...i hope...

Once again, no offence to all, juz stating my POV...point of view...

Peace Up Guys...azmi out...
