...Life as a working 'adult'...

Sometimes, i feel like crying...
Sometimes i feel like i'm on top of the world...
Sometimes i feel lonely...
Sometimes i feel like a girl...

Working life can take drastic effects on some people, yours truly included. But what am i whining about, it's only been three days since the start of my temporary 'career'.

So it has finally begun...my two months of torture and despair, as a Metro Sales Assistant...

Here i was, hoping that i'll be stationed at the men's section, or maybe the kids section, or how about the toys' section...worse come to worst maybe the bedsheet section...NO!!!... They'd figure, Why give this temporary chump nice departments? Lets give him the Ladies Section. Not just any ladies section, lets throw him into the LADIES SHOES department!!!...Muahahaha...evil laugh...

So here i am, slaving my ass off for mere peanuts...at the ladies shoes department...

If not for the nice people to work with around me, i would have quitted on my first day, or better still, my first hour...

But i must think of the reward in the end...

My hard earned pay!!!

After all, its only for 2 months... Lets just hope i can at least survive my first week...

Nothings much has happened on my first three days...but i have learnt quite a great deal about Metro...

They hired countless numbers of Phillipinos...there's not one, not two...but hundreds of them crawling all over Metro...

That said, i think my supervisor's kindof cool...he's so freakin young la...he's like our generation...He barely out of his early twenties and he's a supervisor... Nice chap... If not for him, and all the other nice people, i would have said "F*ck off and goodbye" to Metro since day 1. (Btw, juz in case u're wondering, my supervisor is not Phillipino...true blue Singaporean Chinese, realli nice guy, not your usual 'son of a b*tch' type of supervisor, realli down to earth, kindof dorky with his specs, but he's cool... lives in Marsiling...hey! thats near Joy's place)...

But still, i hate the job...

No need to elaborate la...whats there to shout about when working in the ladies shoes department!...

My first off day today...goin to enjoy to the fullest (aka play xbox until i drop, surf net until my laptop crash, and sleep like a pig until my whole bed is covered in drool...eww!!)

So my good friends...If ever u're in town, do drop by Metro Paragon, Level 2...go straight and u'll find the ladies shoes section. Look around, and you'll definitely see me...

Please do drop by...it will really make my day...trust me...

Its like being in a prison, all alone...then suddenly u receive visitors. How ecstatic can i be?...

Please pray for me...so that i have the strength to endure two months of this pain and hardship. I may like the people there, but i still hate the job...

God help me...

Okay my friends, i wish that you have a pleasant time homing, while i slave my ass off working...

Sigh...
