Today's Hari Raya Haji...otherwise known as Hari Raya Korban... or also known as Eid Ul Adha...

Mum performed the korban this year... Dad performed his a couple years back, and he says, if God Willing, it'll be my turn next year...

Looks at all the sheeps and goats here...obediently waiting their turn... Took some videos too, of the mosque volunteers chasing and wrestling with sheeps just to get a hold of them... hehehe

Bad picture taken here... mainly becoz of the fence grills and all. If u squint hard and see properly, you can see the blade resting on the neck of the goat. This was the final second for him, before he was sacrificed. I had some better pics and videos taken with my hp cam... will show u guys soon. You can really see the blade cutting through the skin, and the blood gushing out like a fountain from its throat... Not for the faint hearted though...

Well...here's my mosque... Annur Mosque... or translated it means, the Mosque of Light (i think... ) This is the vertical tower... u cant see the main building in here...

I've been apart of this mosque since i was a child...an infant... a baby! I attended kindergarten here... and for the years after that, i would attend weekly religious classes.

This is also where i perform my friday prayers weekly... Kinda like a weekly reunion, where i get to meet my sec and pri sch frens here... Then usually, we wud go lepak at the ice kacang stall nearby, or head down to causeway point.

Hello 2007... Goodbye 2006...

Here we are, at yet another new year's eve. If you're wondering, i'm at home now and not at some countdown party. Dad cancelled his plans to take us to Esplanade, coz he's gotta work tmr morning... Oh well, there's always next year...

Again, MSN is rather empty... they must be having fun somewhere... Boo hoo, never invite me...

Well...new year...new me... I've planned to do alot of things this year... Well, at least i hope i'll do it... Here's some of it...

1. Lose Weight... (Lost 1.5kg after dieting and some sports a few weeks back. But then regained it after my trip to malacca. Come on azmi...must focus. Another round of badminton anyone?...)

2. Earn more money... (Semester break coming soon. Looks like its back to the working world. But this time, azmi's a little picky. I need a job that pays good money... Above 5 or 6 dollars an hour would be nice. The more the better...hehehe... Anybody got lobang?...)

3. Settle down happily with a gf?... (You cant be happy with singlehood forever cant you?... It's been too long...a year and a half to be exact... Azmi longs for his happily ever after too...)

4. For World Peace? ( Enough with all the wars and all already! Cant Israel and Palestine just shake hands and be friends? Cant North Korea just accept the world with open arms? And what's up with the US in wanting to bomb every other country?...)

5. Most important of ALL...

Azmi hopes...

For you to be happy...all of you...

I'll just have to wait for what 2007 has to bring...
